We are overjoyed to announce that the Building Brick Waffle Maker is now available in many more countries across the globe! We will produce a second set of units that are optimized and safety tested for voltage 220-240 and use the Type-C plug. This covers much of Europe, South America, and many other countries.

For our friends in the UK and other countries that use the Type-G plug, your voltage range is the same, and we will provide the appropriate adapter for your needs. 

We're ecstatic by the international response we've received and are happy to be able to offer the Building Brick Waffle Maker to you all. Have a look at our pledge levels to find the right fit for you!

Wow, everyone!! 2000 backers??? Unbelievable! Thank you so much to all of you who have fallen in love with the Building Brick Waffle Maker. The response so far has blown away our expectations. We knew people would like it,  but WAFFLE WOW! So great.

To celebrate such an unbelievable first few days, we have a special gift for you -

Every Backer at every pledge level will receive the - OFFICIAL GUIDE TO WAFFLE BRICK BUILDING!

AND WE WANT YOUR HELP WITH IT!

We invite backers to post their favorite waffle recipes, their Grandma-made-it-this-way recipes, in the comments section.  We're excited to see what you all come up with and will include some selected ones in the Guide!  And, please, say whether you would like yours or grandma's name in the recipe credits if we showcase your submission.
 

The Guide will also include fun ideas to spur construction creativity. We'd love to hear what you would like us to take a try at building.  Get out your 1x1, 1x2, and 1x4 real-life building bricks, create something you'd like to see in waffle form, and then send us your pics to - kickstarterkitchen AT thatsamazing DOT com -  We will build our favorites with Building Brick Waffles and feature them in the Guide!

The great international shipping blip of March 25th/26th, 2020...

Hey, all. A quick note on (most) non-North American International Shipping. 

In short, we can't. Sorry! For a short spell yesterday and today, we thought "Hey, if we let our international friends know very clearly that they need the appropriate adapter and converter for use and safety, then why can't we get a Waffle Maker to them?!"

The Building Brick Waffle Maker is equipped with the Type A electrical plug (the skinny, two-pronged kind used primarily in North America) and is optimized for standard USA/Canada current (125 volts). Our compliance and safety testing is in line only with countries that use this plug type, so we can only ship right now to those countries.  However, please still follow the campaign as we will definitely explore options in expanding the plug offerings and likewise submit the appropriate testing needed to sell around the world. 

Apologies to our non-A/B plug international friends coming now to our campaign.

With the Building Brick Waffle Maker, we want to help bring a little fun and brightness into a world that needs it right now. Some things may change; but enjoying meals with loved ones, and our collective desire to build and create will never falter. So let's create! And let's eat! And when your Waffle Maker arrives, let's invite over everyone we know that we won't have seen for a while!

We have some more fun things in store for you all, but for now let's enjoy our shared victory!

Hey, all! 

Thanks so much for a stellar first day. You've done a lot already, but if you'd like to help even more to make the Building Brick Waffler a reality, please share the campaign with anyone you know who likes building, or eating, or building then eating, or... well you get the idea. We're crazy excited to see what everyone creates with their Brick Waffles and that includes your friends and family! 

We have added 2 new Pledge Levels to the campaign. Each is for 1 Building Brick Waffle Maker and for 2 or 4 Construction (read: eating) Plates, respectively. 

These plates are excellent for showcasing your builds and for dipping Building Bricks into your favorite toppings! 

We've also removed the 2-Waffle Maker Pledge Level and will simply offer extra Waffle Makers as add-ons.
